first you should change your food habits not the quantity.
lowering your calories input will not give more impact on your body fitness it may lead to adverse affects.Take sufficient calories, in every meal your should have the proteins.As as much as proteins and fibre as you can in every meal.This is regarding food.Try to avoid rice if possible.

The second parallel approach is the physical exercise
To loose your belly fat never try to do the stomach exercise.
Your time is 6 months
Month-1:First month do walking for 30 mins every day depends on your convenience.Walking or any other exercises you must do alone,just keeping your target date in your mind to loose your belly fat.And for half an hour (with empty stomach) do Kapalabhathi (pranayama) do it slowly and increase gradually to 30 mins starting with 5mins from the very first day.Take protein enriched foods and try to avoid carbohydrates as much as you can and take 4 to 5 liters of water every day,try to avoid taking water before and after meals(at least half an hour gap).
Month-2: Second month slowly increase the pace of walking to jogging style for 15 mins and 15 mins walking .Do it alone and keep it in your mind the target date,.continue the proteins enriched foods.Taking 4 to 5 litres of water every day is a must to lower your fat levels in your body. Kapalbhathi for 30 mins to 45 mins( do it in the medium pace do not do continuously for 30 to 45 mins do it in a very relaxed and comfortable state)
Month-3: Third month complete transformation of walking mode to jogging mode for complete 30mins. And the same food habits and pranayama will continue.
Month-4: fourth month your at the middle of your target you are almost belly free after this three months you may get appraisals from your friends regarding your weight loss,but in real you do not loose weight much as you look.But that is not your target.
Month-5: fifth month do jogging for every alternate days and increase your jogging levels little bit more as not the time limit but the distance as targets, 30 minutes jog means you are already at 3 to 4 km distance every day try to increase the rounds and reach up to 10 km for not more than 90 mins and the other alternative rest days if u can do swimming it is the best way of compensating and resting your muscles and made ready for next day jogging.
Month-6: from this month you are free of your loose fat belly ,but you should standardize your food habits and physical exercises.Take protein rich foods every day, take lots of water every day,do exercise for 30 mins every day (jogging with other small stretching exercises) and do 30 mins kapalabhathi.
Now you are free of gas belly ,fat belly,loose belly and get ready to wear your undersized clothes which was locked in your store room.
